nyoka the little snake and his family, in the rainforest

Welcome, funtastic readers, to a world where stories come alive, and every adventure has a special lesson tucked inside! Today, we bring you a delightful story about Nyoka the Little Snake — a tale from the heart of the rainforest, where every leaf whispers secrets, and every riverbank has a story to tell. Like all our moral stories for kids, this one is filled with fun and wonder but also teaches us something valuable about life.

In Nyoka’s adventure, he learns the importance of being thankful for what he has, especially the love and care of his family. Just like Nyoka, we sometimes want more than we need, but this story reminds us how lucky we are to have people who care for us and help us grow.

This story came to live as a lesson for my eldest kid, who, just like Nyoka, didn’t appreciate what he had and he always wanted more and more. It has helped us so far, hopefully it will do the same with you, funtastic parents!

So get cozy and ready to explore the rainforest with Nyoka, as he discovers the joy of gratitude and the magic of family love. Enjoy, and remember, every story brings a little bit of Funtastic magic into our lives! 🌿💚

Nyoka the Little Snake

In a rainforest so grand,
Lived Nyoka the snake, in a leafy, lush land.
His parents were caring, they loved him a lot,
With food, warmth, and shelter—the best he had got.

They taught him to slither with care and be wise,
“Watch for the dangers that lurk and surprise.”
But Nyoka grew restless, he wanted much more,
Different food, more space—he’d demand and implore.

“I don’t want these warnings, I’m fine on my own!
I’ll tell them to stop when I’m back from this zone.”
So off to the river, with thoughts big and loud,
Nyoka slithered along, head up in a cloud.

But suddenly, up he went, high in the air,
Then down to a dark place—he shivered with fear.
He twisted and turned, tried to wriggle and shout,
But no matter his tries, he just couldn’t get out.

“Mom, Dad, please help me!” he called out in vain,
Yet nobody came to relieve him of pain.
At last, he grew tired and drifted to sleep,
But fear filled his dreams, and he woke with a leap.

Nyoka looked round, it was strange and confined,
No trees, no river, just walls he could find.
He slithered and bumped—”What’s holding me tight?
Why can’t I leave, though I’m trying with might?”

Then came some creatures who lifted him high,
Back into the dark where he started to cry.
He struggled and strained, but his strength was all spent,
So slowly to slumber again Nyoka went.

When he awoke, he was back where he’d been,
The lush, leafy forest, the familiar scene.
No banging or bumping, no creatures to fear,
Just safety and freedom, with loved ones so near.

He slithered back home, his heart filled with grace,
Thankful to see his sweet family’s face.
“Mom, Dad,” he whispered, “I see what you give—
The love, warmth, and shelter that help me to live.”

He promised from then on to value each day,
To cherish his parents, to learn and obey.
For he knew now the blessing of warmth and of love,
And the joy of his life in the green trees above.

So the lesson he learned in the rainforest grand:
To be grateful for family, for love’s gentle hand.
And Nyoka grew happy, more humble and wise,
With his parents beside him, his heart on the rise.
